Mary Therisa DuBose, 94, of Savannah, died Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was a native of Savannah, and was born November 24, 1928; daughter of the late Lonnie Graham Buckner and Jessie Mae Thompson Buckner. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester Dubose. Mrs. DuBose was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and attended Thunderbolt Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donnette and Larry Boykin of Statesboro; son and daughter-in-law, William and Lisa DuBose of Savannah; grandchildren, Russ Boykin, Danielle Driggers and Erika DuBose; great-grandchildren, Sara Boykin, Carmen Driggers and Michael Benson; a great-great granddaughter, Blakelyn Ennis, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00, Monday, January 23, 2023, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors Islands Chapel with Rev. Doug Patterson officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 before service.
